I am sorry for your loss-I know how important grandparents can be and I am lucky my grandmother, who is 96, is still around. Sending you good thoughts to help with your sadness

I too lost a grandma this Christmas, on Dec. 28th. I'm sorry for your loss♡ I hope someday to be described like your grandma. You have a way with words and I'm certain she's pleased by it!

You had me absolutely tearing up, mostly because I have a MawMaw so similar to yours! But also because the pictures you shared made me feel her warmth & she looks like she had such a beautiful spirit.
It's such a blessing that you're able to have some of her recipes-thanks for sharing this one!

    xoxo, SS

Your Mamaw was beautiful and isn't it so comforting to know they are walking on streets of gold now with our Savior and we will see them again one day! Prayers going out to you and your family.

Julie, I'm sorry you lost someone so dear to you, and yet how comforting when we are assured we will meet that loved one again one day. You brought to mind memories of my Granny, who also cooked her heart out for her family. Blessings to you and yours as you grieve and adjust.

Such a beautiful and heartfelt tribute to your Mamaw. You allowed me to "get to know" her with your writing and I thank you! I will certainly be making her Sausage Balls too!

A beautiful tribute to your Mamaw! I had a Mamaw and a Memaw, comes to think of it, it is a southern thing, huh? Loved the pictures and her smile! Blessings, Suzanne
