This is the Scenic Peak District and it’s a part of England that will leave you absolutely speechless. This is the area that holds Chatsworth House, the village of Bakewell, and a thousand other charming sights. We ran into very few Americans around these areas, and locals told us most people don’t plan to travel to Derbyshire, but I wrote all about this part of our itinerary on the blog today, and if you are planning a trip to England, I highly recommend you include this part! It’s pretty much the story of my life, now that I think about it! ♥️ Pure happiness doesn’t really describe what I’m feeling after attempting this flower garden and it working even better than I had hoped so far. Dave has been my hero, per usual, in getting this prepped for me but as always, God takes my plans & says- “watch this!”We did our first cuttings this weekend and all of us are loving these little surprises. We’ve got zinnias, cosmos, cornflower, and several other wildflower varieties popping up. Can’t wait to see how this keeps going!

This was just one more of the amazing adventures we came across last week while driving through the English countryside. This was like walking into a Downtown Abbey episode and I was in awe! The ladies of the town come together to arrange flowers for the church around a specific theme, and this year’s were in honor of different saints. Driving through these villages is like stepping back in time!
