Love it! Oh boy, my kids would be all over that fun house effect đŸ™‚ The paint job looks great. Call me crazy, but I've used finishing paste a number of times, just never over paint~ why didn't I think of that?!

Great mirror and I love the location. Just right for that spot. Good advice about the wax, I never used it like that — will now.

Both your mirror and your home look lovely!

I'm not sure I have the whatever-is-required to do that much work, but I do love the distressed look when I can find it already done. I have coffee and sofa tables like that.

I just wrote a blog post detailing some of my new stuff, too! It's cool that several of us are posting about that these past few days.

Great job on the mirror. I also love your header picture. Last year one of my two year old twins had a thing with finding sharpies and putting lines with curly Q's on several of my walls the week before we sold our home. There was a lot of last minute, late night, priming and painting that week. It's a good thing she's so cute.

Pretty mirror! The fun house effects just make things more interesting.

I had a skinny mirror once. I'm still mourning its loss.
