Lily & Noah’s Engagement and Celebration Party!
It”s official… our little Lily, whom many of you have watched grow up here, is engaged! She met Noah almost 2 years ago at college in Florida and they’ve been the cutest couple ever since. We have loved watching their love story over the past couple of years and getting to know Noah well. So, when he started planning this proposal, we knew it was going to be a day we’d all remember! True to her name, our Lily loves flowers and plants and greenhouses, and she has always been enthralled with the conservatory at Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. So this was absolutely a dream setting for this special day. Noah had everything planned to the minute, including photographers ready to go at the perfect spot. The four of us drove over to Asheville early that day, and the weather, the moment, and the pictures all turned out to be absolutely beautiful. Here are a few of our favorite shots captured by the amazing De Wit Photography.

And the surprises weren’t over! Back home in Knoxville, the siblings were busy setting up an engagement party for them at Abby & Beau’s house at the Dogwood Cottage! A garden dinner party in the courtyard was the perfect way to celebrate.
Everyone was so excited to congratulate them and see the ring!
Abby designed the cutest sign and they made a great menu as well.
Abby also made these little ring cookies by adding paper “diamonds” to some lemon cookies!

Noah is from Minnesota, but he is living in Knoxville for the summer. His parents will be visiting soon to celebrate with the cute couple as well! The wedding is planned for next summer.
We have a busy several months ahead in this family between Beau and Abby’s baby boy arriving any day, plans for the wedding next summer getting underway, and property plans being discussed as well. There is always something fun going on in a family our size, and we are so excited to keep growing!

I love all the picture and congratulations to the engaged couple. My your cup runneth over for sure. What a blessing as your family grows and grows. Nothing better than weddings and babies to brighten our lives as we get older. Wonderful days and I’m happy for all of you.
