Over the weekend we had the first of two baby shower celebrations to welcome the two little ones getting ready to make an appearance into our family! I have a group of friends that have been close as all of our kids have grown, and we have affectionately been named “The Mom Squad” by those kids through the years! And I am so appreciative to that Mom Squad who were the hostesses of this special event.
This first shower was for Abby and little Juliet Bea, so naturally we chose the theme “Mama-to-Bee”! And if you give us a theme party, we will run with it for miles and have a blast doing it. Here are just a few shots of this sweet day!
Four generations represented with my mother-in-law, Abby & Juiet, myself and my mom…

As I said, we had a lot of fun with the bee theme, with plenty of yellow, black, and white…with some daisies mixed in as well.
The cake was the focus of the table, and was so fun! My friend Brooke brought over a plain white two-tiered cake and we worked a little magic on it with some fondant and daisies and those adorable baby bees!

Most of the paper goods we found to go with our theme were from Hobby Lobby.
And of course we needed a little balloon garland! Click here for an easy how-to!
We also had a cute honeycomb cereal and teddy graham mix as well as spinach dip and whipped feta dip!
The drink station was also as sweet as can be!
It was a super fun event with so many special people.
We’re counting down the days and enjoying all these special memories as we get closer to meeting our sweet little Juliet! Even looking at this picture has me amazed that one of my babies is having a baby!
In just a few weeks we’ll be celebrating the next little one to join us and we can’t wait to shower her too!
