How to Make a Floral Hoop Wreath
This Christmas break, we spent a lot of time relaxing at home and loving the down-time. And for me, down-time means plenty of time for Pinterest, which leads to more blog reading, which means more inspiration, which leads to more projects– otherwise known as the circle of life, right?
Well, one project I’ve been wanting to do for a while is a floral hoop wreath! These are popular for parties and weddings, and one of my favorite versions is this one…

But, I think they’re adorable for home decor as well! So, I decided to make one for our breakfast room. All I used for my version is a large embroidery hoop and some greenery garland, both from Hobby Lobby.
With 50% off on the greenery, and a coupon for the hoop, it was a great deal.
I only used the inside of the hoop for the project, and the girls took the other part to teach Scout a new “jump through the hoop trick” so it was a win, win!

To attach the greenery, I just doubled it onto itself, adjusting it a little to get it to cover about one half to two-thirds of the hoop. Then I used a thin floral wire to wire it on. So easy!
I decided to add this little “happy” as well, borrowed from my Happy New Year banner. But, I found a great source for custom script words you can purchase here! They can be used for all kinds of projects!
I just hung the “happy” with string, and then hung the wreath with ribbon! I’m loving it! You could add more flowers or greenery if you wanted to, and customize it for the seasons.
Remember the faux wood sign I show you here? It makes a great background for a wreath as well!

Noticed 16.95 for greenery, could also use sale stuff other places less cost and use 2-3 of them. The signs can be obtained Dollar Tree. This might be good for those that can’t afford more.
Thanks for allowing me to share. Your craft is beautiful-love “modern look”
