I Wasn’t Ready For This
It was such a great summer, I just wasn’t quite ready for it to end.
But the first day of school came anyway today.
So, we put on the school clothes, loaded up the backpacks, and I gave the annual “It’s Going to Be a Great Year” Speech. The kids were actually ready to go and so excited they barely gave us enough time to take a picture.
So everything will be fine. Because, like in life, even if we don’t think we’re ready, changes come. And then we find out it was just what we needed.
Besides, it won’t be long now before the Pumpkin Spice Lattes appear.
Yes, sometimes change is good.

i'm ssssoooo not ready for it! it seems like it just started, I want more time with my sweet boy. but I do like the idea of spiced pumpkin lattes, fall coming and the excitement of a new school year.

Me…not so good. Sort of looking forward to it but there is a lot of work around here to be done and the teacher has to teach and do that work too! Whew! Pray for me! đŸ˜‰

My kids aren't ready, but I am! Mommy needs a break! Pumpkin Spiced lattes sound awesome, too.
