Jeweled Initial Bow Sweater {an Easy How-to!}
Like many of you, I cannot resist a sweet and feminine monogram on just about anything, and at the top of the list would be a great quality sweater to last for generations! I got the inspiration for this one on Pinterest ages ago, but the link was no longer there, so I decided to make them myself!
This design was so easy and it can be done in minutes, really.

I started with these adorable sweaters linked HERE which are a wonderful quality at an amazing Amazon price!

Next, choose a ribbon for your bow. I used an ivory grosgrain in 3/8″ width like this one HERE.

Next, tie the ribbon into a bow and iron it flat, creating your design with folds.

Next, use some peel and stick trim tape to adhere the bow to the sweater. I used THIS ONE cut in half longways to get the correct size.

I cut it into smaller lengths and adhered it to the back side of the bow.

Next, peel the backing from the tape and stick the bow carefully in place on the sweater. Once it is where you want it, press once again with a warm iron.

Next, I used a needle and thread to tack the bow securely in several places.

In one last step, I sewed on the jeweled initial. I’ve linked the ones I used HERE.

I can’t wait to see my little sweet peas wearing these!

And I have already bought the newborn size to make one for my tiniest grand arriving in April! I think you’ll love these quality pieces that can be worn well and passed down for years to come!
