Love Letter Garland (Quick & Easy Valentine’s Day Décor)
This super-simple Love Letter Garland is the perfect little project for you to make with your kids & add a touch of Valentine’s Day to your little love nest. No special crafting skills required!
All you need are some basic supplies you probably already have on hand: a piece of white or off-white card stock, a scrap of red card stock, scissors, glue, a pen, twine, & a small heart punch if you have it.
Using the scissors or a paper trimmer, cut the white card stock into small rectangles & punch out the same number of hearts.
Punching out the little hearts is the perfect job for little assistants…
Next, just scribble out a few lines to make your addresses..
And glue on a little heart “stamp”…
Then, just glue your letters onto a length on twine. (I like hot glue for this because it dries so quickly.)
Then, just display it on a mantle, across a mirror, on a wreath, or anywhere you want to add a little Valentine’s Day in your house.
And don’t forget, a simple chalkboard can be transformed into your own custom seasonal art with just a little bit of creativity.

Your idea inspired me to make a garland that doubled as a handmade valentine. I typed up excerpts from my journal entries I had written about my husband from over the years and put them in real envelopes. I made faux stamps with this beautiful ikat paper I found and used a "XOXO" inkstamp to mimic the stamp from the postal service on an envelope. Thank you for inspiring me!
