Great find, I found a food baster (Is that how you spell it) syringe, I never knew you could fix veneer until I saw it on a blog…..Love bloggers. What do you think would happen if you put the syringe right into the bubble??? Would it make t big a hole?

Great piece, Julie! I have a piece in my mind that I want to use for a buffet, too, but it's probably better if I don't find it right now. I have at least 3 furniture redo projects {small, but they will take some time} on my list. I can't wait to see what you do to this piece!

Gorgeous buffet! I sure think it's from the 1940's. You could also look into having stone or even glass cut to fit the top. Can't wait to see the rest of the makeover!

nice find! I can never find good pieces during garage sales. Very creative fix! I'm pretty impressed at the plan. Maybe it needed more glue? Or perhaps the bubble just permanently distorted the veneer. Either way, great piece!
