Very helpful tips! We're hikers and campers around here too. I love camping though. The more remote and potty-less the better. 🙂

I'm so jealous! I have wanted to move there for so long! I have begged hubby and while he loves it there..we opt to vacation there since we can't just up and leave our jobs like gypsies or something..ha.

Great tips. I used to go all the time. I should try and make more time to go again.

Love, the tips…totally made me laugh! I live in East Tn too, and have always taken those beautiful mtns for granted until my um…shall we say "northern husband" taught me how lucky we were to have such beauty in our "backyard". He's even made a camper out of me…and I love it…but shhh don't tell my husband…ha

Funny you mention hiking…we went hiking this past Sunday and I still can't walk!!

We are a Military family and when we lived in Monterey, Ca, we would hike in Big Sur all the time…The most beautiful place I've ever been.

    The pics are beautiful=)

Hilarious! No.5 and No. 10 made me laugh out loud. Great tips! A Starbucks on a trail would be nice!

I just started reading your blog and I love it! This post is hilarious. Of course, I'll probably never look at junior mints the same … but funny none the less. 😉
