And that’s exactly what he’ll say when he reads this. Yes, today is the birthday of one of my best friends, who just happens to be my brother. And since I’ve posted about all my other immediate family members on different occasions, it’s only fair that I embarrass him as well. Wow, there are so many stories I could tell. But, because he also has a blog, as well as access to pictures of me from days when big hair ruled, I’ll keep this sweet. Since I do have this opportunity, I want to wish him a fabulous birthday. (I know it will be because he’ll be with his great family!) And I’m thankful that after all these years, we’re still as close, and in fact, much closer, than we’ve ever been. He’s a big help to me in my canvas business. And I think he was the one who first suggested that I start a blog. (He’s probably regretting that about now.) He lets me help him with decorating ideas for his house and answers his phone (almost) every time I call. He’s a great brother to my sister & me & a great son to my parents. And he reminds me more & more of my dad all the time, which is the highest compliment I could pay him. He’s also a great uncle to my kids & nieces. Actually, he’s not their great uncle. He’s just their uncle, but they love him. And he’s a great friend to many people, as well as a great influence on a lot of young people. But, best of all, he’s a great Christian guy who loves the Lord. And I can’t say enough how proud I am that he’s my brother. And I know that I will pay dearly for this, but, some of you will be very interested to know that he is indeed single. Never been married. If you’re a nice Christian girl and you’d like to meet him, my sister & I are accepting applications. All you need to do is fill out our 10-page questionnaire and send in a $25 application fee. Just kidding, of course. About the questionnaire. Happy Birthday, David!Click here to visit his blog & you can wish him a Happy Birthday, too!
