Nice, Julie! You're right, the yellow was nice, too, but no matter how good the price these things need to fit in with our existing decor. Adding the glaze made a difference and was a great idea.

The lamp is gorgeous! I am going to have to try the silver spray paint, I usually stick to black or ORB but I think it might be time to broaden my horizons!

Stopping by from Anything Related and I love this lamp – and the other lamp revamp you have. I added you to my blogroll – I can't wait to see what else you make! I am so inspired, I might finally pull out the crappy bookshelf I swiped from someone's trash and revamp it this weekend!

What a great size and shape. (Ha, I've experienced the "I've just been spray-painted" problem, too.) It looks perfect and expensive in its new spot.

Great job on your lamp makeover! I wish our Goodwill had a 1/2 off day. I'm pretty sure they don't but I better investigate that further and make sure I am not missing out! 🙂

On a scale from 1 to 10, how hard is it to rewire a lamp?

I guess it depends on the lamp & how hard it is to take apart & put back, but most are simple. I'm sure you could do it!

just this week I've been making over my first lamp ever, and just looking over all your redone lamps was really inspiring. I don't think I'll eve by a new lamp again. Thanks!
