Did y’all have a great Christmas? I hope so. We had a great time here, just totally chilling for 2 days with the family–eating, laughing, and enjoying being together. But, today, it’s back to the routine and time for the After-Christmas Breakdown. And, of course, by that I mean un-decking the halls and putting all this stuff away. It’s such a mess right now I don’t even have the energy to show it to you.

Actually we got a big chunk of it done yesterday, thanks to everyone chipping in to get the big tree out. And my sister and brother-in-law even vacuumed the basement and cleaned the bathroom before they left this morning. (A big help!)

So, I’m on the home stretch, but as we break for lunch, I decided to check in with you all. Anyone else in the middle of the breakdown? Don’t give up! It will soon be done.

And then you can have time to sit and relax. And you may even want to try something new.

While my sister was here, she taught me and Abby how to arm-knit an infinity scarf. Amy learned from a You Tube video (I’ll add it below), and now she’s a pro at them. So we got our yarn, sat down, tied ourselves up for an hour or so, and ended up with scarves…

Seriously, these are fun to make. You don’t have to know how to knit, and you’ll catch on fast. And it forces you to sit still for at least 30-45 minutes, so it’s a great way to un-wind after your After-Christmas breakdown.

This video tells you everything you need to know, including the type of yarn to get, so sit down, put your feet up, and give it a try!

As for me, I’ve got to get back to work! {I’d rather be knitting.}
