Winter Bedroom Refresh!
It’s that time of year when the days are shorter and nights are colder and I just want to dial up the coziness factor in the whole house! And that’s especially true for our bedroom! Many of you know I like to change up our bedding and decor a little for the fall and winter, and this year, I went even further with new window treatments as well. Several of you spotted the new drapes on Instagram, and I wanted to wait til I got the bedding to share the whole look, so here we go!

I’ve been in a velvet mood lately, and it’s reached all the way to the bedroom now! I started with this creamy velvet quilt and layered on this silky moss green velvet quilt.
The green velvet is very moody itself and changes colors with the different angles and different light!
As for pillows, I started with these oversized velvet ones first. They are not the exact color of the cream quilt, but they are definitely a nice compliment to it and have a great quality of soft poly fill. After that come the soft faux fur pillows which you can find here. Lastly, the blush pink pillows were some I’ve had, but I found a very similar option here.
And as for the velvet curtains that started this vibe, they are definitely a more sophisticated feel than my navy and white ones I’ve had in here for several years now. I love the feel of these, and they are a nice heavy fabric that is also lined with weights at the bottom! They come in several colors and lengths for a great deal. Find the link for these here.
I have hung mine with the clip rings for the added length and also for the ease of opening and closing them each day. However, these panels have the hidden tabs for hanging as well.
I’m loving this new neutral palette to work with and I can’t wait to get my Christmas tree up in here very soon!
I hope this gives you a little inspo if you’ve been looking for a way to switch things up for the winter!
