For the record, you’re one of those things that turned out way better than I even expected. Love you 🙂

I really enjoyed this post. I got a lot out of it. I was just listening to something similar on TD Jakes’ podcasts I’ve been watching this week. It is just a confirmation that God has a message he wants me to pay attention to! Thank you for sharing. I especially like the part where you discussed our expectations of people in our life. I think that is where a lot of my disappointment comes from – too high expectations of others. I’m learning to let that go.

Beautiful heart, beautiful post, great reminder. I thought I was the only mom who didn’t have an established doctor for her 4 kiddos!! We did immunizations, sports physicals, and that’s about it. Thank you, too, of the reminder of heaven — just this week I had a difficult conversation with one of my bosses (he wasn’t sure I was making the best decision/choice for myself in regards to my family vs. job) and I said, “I know what you are saying, and you are right, if this is all there is but it isn’t. I’m looking at this from an eternal perspective and I will have to answer to Him one day. . .yes, the choices I make today will effect 5 years from now (my usual measuring stick) but they will also matter eternally.” I’m happy to report, a few days later now, that all was resolved and I think everyone feels better. Balancing “this world” with “eternity” can be difficult, especially when those you respect and trust try to get you to only depend on “yourself”. Reminders of WHY we follow, worship, and praise Him can never be too bountiful 😉

So true! And I love hearing this testimony of how God is working in your life! So many decisions to be made on daily basis!! But it’s great to look back and be affirmed that He has it all under control!
