Christmas Tour 2018!
As I typed the title of this post, I had one of those “how did that happen?” moments as I realized I’ve decorated this house for 10 Christmases now! What?! I can’t explain how that can be possible, but here I am again, celebrating my favorite season in the best way I know how, through all kinds of different expressions of the language God gave me to speak: creativity.
My doors are open to y’all once again, so come on in! Just like last year, my gorgeous wreaths are from Lynch Creek Farm, who is the lovely sponsor for the Holiday Homes Tour again this year! To those of you coming from Evolution of Style, welcome!! I have linked all the participating bloggers at the end of this post so don’t miss all the great inspiration from all of their tours!
This is the beautiful Three Cedars wreath, which I ordered plain and just added a little “be merry” sign! These wreaths are hung with ribbon the same way I hang all of my wreaths which you can read about here!
I’ve got a little surprise in the foyer this year as I brought up my huge green chalkboard for a little Christmas greeting as you walk in the door!
And it was the perfect place for the leaf garland to hang as well! (Find the easy how-to for that here.)
(Also, you can shop this post when you click on the small thumbnails of the products you see below!)
I tried to keep things clean and simple in here this year, even with the cocoa bar, which is one of our favorite Christmas traditions now!
The kids love it when I put the marshmallows in the gumball machine. And the mini gingerbread houses are another favorite we get from the Dollar Tree each year!
I already shared my new gingerbread Christmas hoop wreath here in case you missed it, but the traditional Christmas plaids and black and white stripes continue in the breakfast room!
And on the mantle, I brought up another DIY Christmas project from a couple years ago: this easy painted sign! This time I placed it in a gold frame I had in my empty frame stash and I love how it dressed it up a little. You can find the original how-to for this sign here.
Also on the mantle is the garland from my Thanksgiving table that I promised you would see again.. this time with fairy lights.
And my traditional shot of my favorite little bird ornament because I just love it!
Scout thinks he’s part of the decor in every room as he is always trying to get in the pictures, and most of the time I agree!
And lastly, I’d love to welcome you into the dining room for a merry and bright look this year in my beloved Kate Spade style.
With plenty of pom poms and polka dots, it should be a great place for some fun conversation this Christmas!
My grandmother gave me these metallic gold trees last year, and I love how they go with my Kate Spade tray.
And every year, you will find our Jesus is the Reason wreath somewhere in the decor! I made this years ago, so it’s sentimental to me, but the importance of the message is why I really love it. Don’t forget to spend time each day this season with the One it’s all about!
Friends, I’m elated that you’ve stopped by for another one of my Christmas home tours! So many of you have become the treasured friends that I have yet to actually meet. So thankful that hasn’t stopped us from sharing each other’s lives. Looking forward to sharing more fun and inspiration with you in the days ahead!
And now for some really fabulous Christmas inspo, the next stop on the tour is Quarters One, then please visit my fellow blogger friends and their beautiful home tours via the links below!!

Amazing! Like I mentioned in my email, can I just move into the guest room and live there? It’s hard to pick a favorite space; your kitchen and dining room are always at the top of my list, and of course the piano room. Your home is beautiful and welcoming, just like you! Merry Christmas, my friend. XO

Your home is gorgeous and I love your tree with the sentimental ornaments. That is what Christmas is all about to me. I am tempted to not hang every ornament that we have collected but every year I try to hand most of them. Green chalboard in the entry another clever touch!
