Christmas at Biltmore
Many of you who follow me on Instagram saw that my husband and I took our annual Christmas getaway last week and this time it was to one of our favorites: Biltmore Estate. We’ve been there several times as it’s an easy trip across the mountains to Asheville and even thought it’s spectacular anytime, it’s just magical at Christmastime! This was our first candlelight tour, and we loved it.
Our actual tour reservation wasn’t until 9:15 at night, but we were able to arrive before sunset and get some pics of the exterior and then visit the grounds.
As you can imagine, there isn’t as much to see in the gardens during the winter, but the conservatory is full of gorgeous plants and decor…
Also on the huge estate is Antler Hill Village for shopping and dining, so we had dinner over there and took our time looking around!
I love this cluster of trees they had strung with tons of string lights. So perfect with the fire pits and adirondack chairs!
Back at the house, we got some coffee and shopped some more at the shops just outside the house. Then we started the tour! Here are a few highlights for you!
There are just so many gorgeous details throughout the house to see and, if you haven’t guessed, I highly recommend visiting! Click here for tickets and info!
Also– we stayed once again at our favorite Asheville hotel, The Grand Bohemian, which is right across the street from the entrance to the Estate! I wrote about it in the past here if you’d like to see more! It’s fabulous.
P.S. This is not a sponsored post! Just all my opinions on some of my favorites! Hope you get to visit her sometime!
