Great story and memory. I remember for our Holy Communion we got to go to a “fancy” restaurant, yes, round tables and linens too. Just Mom and Dad and me. When you have five siblings that is really an extra special treat. PS, the carpet in that picture brings back memories too !

What a beautiful memory!! Just played the song and think it might get played when I die or maybe when hubby dies? Beautiful song and not aware of this Neil song. Thanks so much for sharing.

What a sweet, sweet story. Treasure the fact that you had loving Christian parents. I lived in Clinton, Tn growing up and on occasion went to Regas Resturant. It truly was a special place. Thank you for bringing back my sweet memories too.

Wow! That’s great. 🙂 I definitely am grateful for my home life growing up & try not to ever take it for granted.
