Farmhouse Chic Spring Decor
It’s true–I’m getting an early start to my Spring decorating, and I’m blaming the beautiful weather we’ve been having for my inspiration! With 70-degree weather in February, who can resist?
Last week, I shared how I framed my landscape painting and gave it a new home hanging in the piano room, and now I’ve done a little re-styling in the rest of the room as well.
Does anyone recognize this mirror? I first shared it here on the blog waaaay back in 2010! It was one of the first items I ever bought at an estate sale, and the price? Five whole dollars! I still can’t believe it either.
All those years ago, I sprayed it gold and vowed I would never get rid of it. I have, however, switched things around and tried different looks on this mantel since then, but now it’s back and I thought it would look great for a farmhouse chic mantel for Spring.
Here’s a little tour of the room…
I’m still using my eucalyptus garland I made every chance I get. (I first talked about it in this post.)
My sofa will always be my favorite piece in the room because of the story behind it. {Read the story here}. And that table under the mirror is the one I’ve been thinking about painting. (Thanks for all your input on my Instagram poll!)
Hope you like it! It’s a great transitional look that I can add to as Spring actually arrives! Have you started any Spring decorating yet?

Although I don’t decorate in your colors, I can still appreciate the wall color as it’s beautiful, striking and projects a peaceful feeling. Love the mirror as it looks similar to mine hanging above our bed. Bought at a resale shop for $7 and sprayed it white against soft grey walls and a sprayed painted black pencil post bed! Yes for the weather we are having I’ve been rearranging furniture and accessories and it is amazing to see the new look and haven’t spent a dime!

Love this room! Do you have info on where I might find a similar nesting coffee table set? That one is fabulous!

Thanks! And yes! This table set is still available! Here is the link… http://rstyle.me/n/cre4sbcausf
The color may be slightly different than mine. I painted mine a little brighter gold with a little spray paint. But–a great price for these!
