Colorful and Fun Kids’ Thanksgiving Table
At my house, the kids’ table is the fun table at Thanksgiving. It’s the one with more color, more creativity, and more ways to express your gratitude! I’ve used paper as my main design element for the past few years, and it provides endless possibilities! It’s no secret that my favorite table covering is wrapping paper, so I used it once again! And this time, I went with some kraft paper as well, so I could write on a few names…

Since chalk is my favorite writing medium, I used it on the kraft paper (as well as the chalkboard), and I recently bought this set of pastels with some fabulous colors.
The paper plates and napkins are from Target, and the floral wrapping paper is from Marshall’s, but the colors coordinate like they were made to go together!
It’s our tradition to have a place for the kids to write down what they’re thankful for, so this time I made little banners from more kraft paper. Then I cut a bamboo skewer, glued on the banner, and hung it with some colored cord. The mini buckets are some I’ve had for years, but you can find similar ones for a great deal here.
To label the cups, I just tied on a little round label with some twine.
And I don’t even have to mention the obvious, but using the paper products makes clean-up as easy as can be!
That’s our kids’ table for this year! Looking forward to hearing the laughs of some giggly cousins around it once again. The grown-up table is coming up early next week!

I love it. Each year it changes up enough that it is fresh but also has a little traditional memory attached so that in 20 years all the kids will say We always did this at thanksgiving.
