Cute blog Julie! I had a sec this morning to pop over and read this post. We’re actually from Southern California (born & raised) and used to go to DisneyLAND all the time, but since we’ve lived in Georgia, we haven’t had the opportunity to get down to DisneyWORLD. Half of me is procrastinating because I know I will undoubtedly compare it to my familiar and beloved Disneyland in California. So many memories there since my childhood even! I know you’re right though about leaving the expectations behind 😉

Wow! Well, you’re right that Disney has a way of making us nostalgic toward the way it was when we were kids! However–I think you’ll love Disney World! We have only been to Disneyland once and were amazed at how similar it was, yet Disney World is so much bigger!! Plus, there’s EPCOT, Hollywood Studios AND Animal Kingdom that you have to see!! I hope I’ve talked you into it. Ha! 🙂

I have been looking forward to, and just now had a chance to have a few quiet minutes and read your blog post. Oh you are a girl after my own heart. I love hearing what other ‘mousketeers’ have to say about their trips.
Yes, I too dream of a dole whip under a clear blue sky..before watching Festival of the Lion King. And, I am just so happy strolling through the Magic Kibgdom (anywhere on property for that matter) and just enjoying being there.
The Yacht Club is my second favorite resort to stay at after the Grand Floridian…but the convenience of the Yacht Club being so close to Epcot and a quick walk or boat ride to HS is great.
Just came back from my third trip there this year, one more around Christmas or New Years, Lord willing.
My parents took us many times after Disney World opened, then we took our children many times through the years (still taking our younger ones) and now our daughter has taken her family there quite a few time.
Also, I love the Disney Cruise.
You’ are right, expectations about a perfect vacation, must be left behind, or the magic will be missed…planning is good, but leave room for pixie dust

Travel is expensive for maximum folks; a experience to that magical area is a as soon as-in-a-lifetime adventure. You’ll deliver home extraordinary testimonies if you’re open to them, however in case you need to carry home extremely good snap shots, it takes a little extra than simply bringing a camera with you.tourist places
