Vacation Contemplation
Surprise! I’m home. I know–most of you didn’t know I was gone because I don’t tend to broadcast it when I’m out of town, but over the past 10 days, we’ve spent over 36 hours on the road, over 8 hours on a train, and who knows how many hours walking. And, yes, I’m exhausted. But, that’s just the way we like our vacations. It’s true that some years we go to the beach & actually relax, but most of our vacations are spent in high-adventure mode, where we are on the go everyday, seeing and doing as much as we can.And we have seen and done a lot the past few days. And made some great memories with my in-laws as well. I can’t wait to tell you more about some of the fun stuff we did, but for now, here’s a little preview…And while I’m trying to get back in touch with reality, tell me: what kind of vacationer are you?

You guys had a great week to visit! We just had a vacation in Mexico-little kids so it was busy! 🙂
Don't you love being away but love coming home, too?

Looks like you guys had fun! We enjoy lazy beach vacations…but we once did an "amazing race"-like trip to Hong Kong early this year and we had a blast too! Now, we're happily planning our Bangkok vacation in October. 🙂

What a beautiful family! As an empty nester, vacations and get-away's are more relaxing and spontaneous, but my memories are sweet. Looking forward to time with them!
