    I think I'm glad that you scrapped your other plan. It couldn't be any more fun than this. Love the black and white of course. It gives the room a bit of sophistication – perfect for a tween but the polka dots keep it light and youthful. Loving it.

    WoW! It looks great and I'm sure she loves it. we just did a tween makeover too and it's a similar look to yours. I especially love that red table and the mirror turned jewelry hanger.

    Mema's been bragging about the room redo, had to come and check it out!! Looks good. Love all the little touches like the butterflies on the wall. That black poke-a-dot really pops!! Love ya cuz, hope to see everybody in a few months when we are back on the mainland.

    This whole post made me smile. What teen girl wouldn't absolutely love a room like that??? I especially loved the bedspread and the head board, it adds such a perfect pop of color.

    How did you keep her out of her room?? That's like the PERFECT surprise!

    The ginormous fabric flower is fantastic! I love fabric flowers, but the biggest one I've ever made, and I felt it was huge, was about 5 inches across. Hello! Why do I limit myself so? Thanks for breaking me out of my fabric flower box. 😀

    Congrats on the feature at Tatertots & Jello! I found your blog there. LOVE LOVE LOVE the room revamp! It is perfectly adorable in a 12 year old girl kind of way 😉 SO glad that you gave info on the walmart.com bedding! I have been waiting and waiting to get the dottie from pb teen for my 10 year old…but never feel right about shelling out the dough! So I just ordered the walmart version … yay! I am now a follower of your super cute blog!

    I never get tired of looking at this room. I've seen it several times, but had to pop back over after seeing it on CSI. LOVE the aqua/red combo.

    And the keep calm & ask mom will go in my girl's room when she's older!!
