Spring Flower Pot Tassel
If you haven’t yet jumped on the “tassel bandwagon”, maybe this tutorial will change your mind. I love a good tassel & I think everyone needs at least one! For the past few weeks, I’ve been searching and searching for something I could use for a topper for a Spring tassel. I’ve seen some cute ones here & there in blogland, but I just couldn’t find the right thing I could use to make one for my house. I also wanted to be able to use it for a while after Easter, so I didn’t want to go with a bunny. Then, finally, it hit me! And this little tassel came to be. 
This is a super-easy project, great for a first-time tassel-maker. (This is only the second tassel I’ve made myself, so trust me, you can do it.) Here’s what you need: a mini terra cotta pot, a few miniature flowers (mine came from Hobby Lobby, of course), several colors of ribbon, a few inches of pom pom trim, and an empty thread spool.

I'm on the band wagon and posted about tassels today too (got the Nester ebook a few weeks ago). Love your spring one, never thought to use the flower pots, and I clicked on your bathroom tassel link, wow, I love how you decorated your bathroom, and that ceiling!

A Stroll Thur Life tutorial on tassel making using a spool thread. Isn't it just so much fun. I love the flowerpot idea, very creative. If you have time come by my blog and see the Easter bunny tassel that I did. It is very simple but I really like how it turned out.

I only had time to click on two tassel's from the Nester's party and I'm so glad I picked yours–I needed a tutorial! I think I have all these supplies in my stash and I am going for it this weekend, maybe even tonight!
