Eucalyptus and Olive Branch Wreath for Fall
Each morning, as I slip out to the front porch for coffee, I’m noticing that little hint of cool in the air that reminds me fall is fast approaching! And with school in session and Lily heading to college this weekend, there’s no turning back to summer now!
So it was time to start the transition to autumn and that usually begins with the wreaths on the front door! So I put together a new one for this year, keeping things a little more calm and green with eucalyptus and olive branches.

I think many of you will like this look, so here’s what I did! I started with the basic gold hoop I’ve used before for other wreaths. The same kind is linked right HERE. I still have the beaded garland strand attached that I use for hanging. (Click here to see how I use velcro to hang my wreaths!)
From there, I simply used floral wire and wired on the eucalyptus bunches (about 4 to 5 on each side), layering them to create the fullness I wanted across the top half of the hoop. I bought this at Hobby Lobby a few years back, but you can find the same kind HERE.
Next, I took 2 olive branches which I found for a great deal HERE. Using wire cutters, I separated the branched into smaller stems and wired them onto the wreath over the eucalyptus.
As a last touch, I added a simple ribbon bow at the top.
I love how these look on the door. And the neutral green will give me plenty of opportunity to add more pops of color with other accessories!
If you’ve been looking for some wreath inspiration, I hope this helps! I’d love to see your versions as well! And if you’d like to see a video of this wreath being made, see my reel on my Instagram and follow me there!
