Front Porch Styled for Summer
It’s porch season, which many of you know is my favorite season! Outdoor spaces make me happy and I love to spend a little time each summer getting our porches ready for all the time we’ll spend on them! I’m sharing our front porch today and how I’ve style it this year along with some sources for pieces you may be interested in! This post contains some affiliate links which help to support this blog.
I’m still using my favorite faux boxwood wreaths because they are still a classic staple that remain relevant to many design styles! I still get several questions about these and fortunately they are still available HERE. Another popular question is how to hang them which you can find info on HERE.
The layered rugs at the front door are some I have had for awhile and pulled out to use again! I’m linking similar looks below…
We have kept the same furnishings I found a couple years ago and they’re still looking good and holding up well! These pieces are also still available and sources are below…
I accidentally chose a pink theme for flowers this year I guess, and it has come together so well! I chose Kalanchoe once again here at the door and also on the coffee table because it’s so colorful and drought-tolerant in case I forget to water!
And speaking of watering, I shared on Instagram recently that we took our favorite DIY irrigation system to a new level this year by adding an “invisible” line to the porch! Can you spot it? I got this mandevilla from Abby and Beau for Mother’s Day and I wanted it to stay consistently watered! The line is an extension off of our flower box irrigation and it’s working like a dream! Find the info on our original how-to HERE and see the reel about the extension HERE.
This porch sitting area is our current morning coffee spot!
It’s also a little reminder that it’s ok to mix a few faux plants in here and there, especially if you don’t have a green thumb! Did you notice my two faux ones on the side tables? The small rosemary tree is part of the pair I bought a few years ago and it is still holding up very well outdoors! You can shop those HERE and if they are out of stock, they should be back soon!
Thanks for stopping by my porch! I hope you have a favorite outdoor space you can enjoy in the summer season as well!

I’m curious what the pink flower in the picture is. They look so beautiful. The leaves are also wonderful and spotless

I think you’re referring to the mandevilla. It’s beautiful!
