DIY Fall Leaf Hoop Wreath
Last week I shared a few new wreaths for those of you who would rather shop than make! But today is for the DIY-ers who like to add your personal style for a more custom look. Here’s the new wreath on our door for fall. So simple and easy– and only takes a few minutes!

I started with a few fall stems in a color palette of creams, reds, orange and pink! I found these stems at Joann.

Many of you may remember I used these gold hoops last year for a fall wreath and added this beaded hanger. You can find a closer look of that HERE. I liked those so much, I started over with those same hoops for this year’s look.

As I’ve shared before, I use this basic floral wire to wire on stems for my hoop wreaths and it works perfectly and makes it easy to switch out later as well. Just cut short lengths of the wire and twist it around the stem onto the hoop where you want to secure it.

For this wreath, I started with the oranges and layered on the other colors as I went. I use wire cutters to separate the pieces and cut the length to what I need.

After the orange, I added the neutrals, then the red berries, then the pink.

Since I was making two of them, I made one with the stems on the left side and the other on the right to make them symmetrical. If you’re just making one, choose a side or just center the stems on the bottom of the hoop for a different look.

One of the my most asked questions is how I hang them, and I have a special post about the method I use right HERE! It works like a charm and I’ve been doing it for years now!

More fall decor and porch styling coming soon. Are you making a wreath for fall?? I’d love to see yours too! Tag me on Instagram or send me a pic so I can share!
