Window Seat Bench for the Family Room
The story of how our house is becoming a home is ever-evolving with new chapters all the time, new pieces making an appearance here and there, and a few surprises along the way as well! Is this how your home story is, too? It’s a process, but I love every step of it. And this past week, after thinking about it for some time, I pulled the trigger on a new piece for the living room, and now we have an instant window seat!

I’ve had a crush on window seats for a long time now, and this corner of our family room needed a little something, so I started looking around and found this bench which was not only the perfect size, but a great price as well!
It arrived in 2 days with just standard shipping, and the only assembly was to just screw in the legs! The light gray linen fabric is a great neutral, and the tufting and carving details add lots of interest. I added my zebra print pillow, which I’ve had for several years, and it’s now the perfect spot for sitting and relaxing by the window!
One of my criteria for buying a new piece of furniture is versatility, and I know I can use this bench in several places if I decided to in the future. It would be perfect for the end of a bed or in an entry way. It would even work as a coffee table!

Hey! Thank you! That wall color is Sherwin Williams Morning Sun. It’s a good pale yellow & I have it in most of the main floor of the house!
