Our Home Tour
After nearly 7 years of blogging about this house, a lot of things have changed about it. Not only are the rooms all decorated, some have already been re-decorated to suit my ever-changing style. That’s just part of what it means to make a house a home, right? I love sharing the journey with you all, and I love opening my doors to you even if we may never meet in person. It’s a modern form of hospitality and I’m always glad when you stop by!
So many of you have asked me where to find a post with a tour of our home in one place, and before now, I haven’t had one. (Sorry!) So I’m finally taking some time to give you a short tour. Here are some of our favorite spaces in our home. Click on the links for more posts about each space.

Just a note: Decorating this house and sharing it here on this blog is my hobby, but the people who live here are my life. I hope you’llvisit me often here toread moreabout who we are, our less-than-perfect lives, and our faith in the God who loves us through it all!

Julie, your home is so pretty but that's in part because of your creativity and personal touches. I always enjoy my visits here.

Very beautiful. It’s easy to see you take great care and pride in your home. I looked, but I didn’t see it…would you mind letting me know where your breakfast room table set is from? I am looking for a standard-height, 8 chair table, where the chairs all fit snuggly underneath the table. It’s been surprisingly hard to find. Thank you, Lisa

Hi, Lisa- so sorry I’m just seeing this! I wish I could help you, but I don’t know what brand this table is. We got it several years ago at a local store & it’s not marked with the brand anywhere.

I’m trying to figure out what was used for the Lettering and leaf cut outs on the grey and white striped wall in the “Lauren” room I found on Pinterest. My daughter wants the exact same style with lettering and leaves. Please contact me.

Hi, Caroline!
Yes- you’re referring to the room I featured with the teen girls’ reading nook. The name and feathers were custom pieces that they made with specialty equipment, but here is a similar listing on Etsy for a laser cut name —

Hi. My niece saw the Lauren sign above the bed. Where did did you get it?
February 5, 2017 @ 5:37 pm
It was a custom piece they made, but here’s a similar one! https://www.amazon.com/Childrens-Decor-Custom-Personalized-Different/dp/B01N3VEG0X/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ref=hnd_dp_car_mba_2&linkCode=sl1&tag=lesthaperlifo-20&linkId=c9361854c3a550ee2bb731a94de50301

I was just on a missions trip with Kelly and she told me about your blog. You truly have great talent! I’m just now figuring out that Grant is your son? What a wonderful young man you have raised! He was a true delight to be around while in Nicuragua! I’m excited to learn more from your blog, thank you for sharing it with us!
