Breakfast Room Refresh and Restyle!

Have you ever made a change in your décor that you tossed around in your head for awhile because you just weren’t sure, and then when you finally decided to do it, you thought, “WHY did I not do this sooner?”

That’s the story of me and my new settee in the breakfast room.

It took me weeks and months to finally make the decision, but only seconds to realize I love it!

Here’s a shot of the breakfast room from a few years ago because I couldn’t find a recent picture with the original chairs…

Just the one settee makes more of an impact in the room than I even expected!

I love everything about it, and it fits our table like it was made for it. Plus, it’s deep enough that I can add some throw pillows for even more fun!

We actually ordered it around Thanksgiving, but since it was backordered, it just arrived a few days ago while I was out of town. There was a little assembly required, but Dave had it ready and waiting for me when I got home.

I also re-styled the cafe shelves, as I do every season, but this time I added a little painting I did and a mirror I found on the clearance aisle at Marshall’s for only $10.

I’mloving theupdates in our room and I hope you do, too! If you’ve been thinking about making a change, maybe it’s finally time to go for it! I hope you’ll let me know how it turns out!
