I used to see a ton as a teen but haven't in years. You're motivating me to give it a shot-I'm in need of some summer skirts!! I'm off to check out your sister's blog for tutorials, thanks!

I'd love to know where you got those adorable orange shoes! I've been looking for a pair of orange heels and ordered some online–when I got them, they were exactly the color of a traffic cone! I actually laughed out loud, right before I packed them up and sent their ugly selves right on back. 😀 So I'm still on the hunt, and yours are adorable! They look great with that skirt!

Thanks, Heidi! I actually bought those 2 years ago at Ross, so I'm not sure where you could find them now 🙁 They're made by Dollhouse, so maybe you'll get lucky & find some online somewhere? Good luck!

I LOVE your chevron skirt! You may have inspired me to go make one of my own! Just adorable. Great job!

Hi, Your skirts are cute! Is the chevron fabric the weight of the Premier Print? Also, did you use a pattern for the Anthro inspired one?
    Thanks!

Yes, the Premier Print & the chevron I used are very similar in weight. The main difference is that the one I bought from HL was with the apparel fabrics (around 45" wide) & the Premier Prints is 54" wide. And, no, I didn't have a pattern for the green skirt. I tend to make it up as I go 🙂
