Mini Wreath Topiary
This is a super-easy tutorial on a mini wreath topiary that most crafty people could do with their eyes closed, but for those of you who always tell me you’re reading & never do anything crafty yourselves, this one’s for you. And besides, I’ve not posted about topiaries in way too long. (If you love topiaries as much as I do & you want to see more tutorials, click here.)This one starts with some faux boxwood found at Hobby Lobby or other craft haven in the floral department. You’ll also need needle-nosed wire-cutting pliers, some thin floral wire, a small container for your topiary (I got my little buckets at JoAnn), a little styrofoam for the container, a small stick from your yard, and a little floral straw. Wow! that sounds like a lot of stuff. It’s really not. 
Start by cutting a few stems off the boxwood with your wire cutters. (See this project if you need a picture.) Next, taking 3 or 4 of the stems, form a small wreath about the size of a small bangle bracelet by overlapping them slightly end to end. Wrap the green floral wire around it carefully to help hold it together. Only wrap it just enough to hold it together, but still allowing a few sprigs to stick out.
When you’re happy with your little wreath, attach it to your stick with more wire, using the pliers to help twist it tightly in place. 
Then, push the styrofoam into the container & the stick into the styrofoam. 
Then, just cover up your foam with a little floral grass or moss and add a ribbon if you want. I told you this was simple! I had a second container, so I stuck a couple more sprigs in it & made a “bush”. I know. This takes a lot of talent. But, these would make really cute place card holders or any number of things!

Love it, Julie! I've been meaning to pick up some boxwood when I go to Michael's to use for a couple of projects. Great idea as place card holders or the place cards themselves. Especially for the holidays with the wreath topiary.
