Christmas Home Tour 2022!
Hi, y’all, and welcome! It’s already my 14th Christmas in this house, and every single one of those years I’ve brought you in for a tour! That means we’ve celebrated a lot of Christmas here and seen a lot of changes as well. But one thing that hasn’t changed is the joy I have in sharing this season and all that it means to us with all of you. Come on in!

I’ve re-used these faux cedar wreaths on the front doors for a few years now and they’re still going strong! I love switching out a few accents or ornaments to give them a different look each year. I’m linking a source to similar ones HERE.
Once inside the door, I’ve written out a line from a sacred hymn for this Christmas season on the mirror with my chalk marker once again, so that from the first steps into this house, it’s clear that Jesus is the why behind all the holiday cheer.
If it looks like a candlelight tour this year in some of these rooms, it basically is! It’s been a very dreary and rainy December so far but that leaves plenty of opportunity for the sparkling lights. Our piano room is the coziest room of the house when we have a fire burning, and it’s where I use the soft colors the most!
This is the mantel that holds stockings for Juliet and Rosie, who are already about to turn one! Can you believe it?
Something new to me in here is this vintage glass nativity set Abby and Beau got me recently. I love it!
In the family room, we always have the family tree, which we try to pick out together and then decorate with all our traditional ornaments we’ve collected for years!
This is where we hang out together the most, and where we cram in to exchange gifts on Christmas morning!
These stockings are for all the kids… even the marrieds! I may have to get a bigger mantel as we keep growing!
In the breakfast room is my newest little Christmas house collection Dave got me from Anthropologie (linked HERE) and I can’t stop looking at it!
In the kitchen, you may have seen on Instagram my gingerbread and lemon wreath I shared HERE.
And my favorite project so far this Christmas is the gingerbread greenhouse I did with Lily and Abby after Thanksgiving! I shared that HERE.
And there is always the hot cocoa bar! Another of my favorite parts! This year I made a garland from disco balls to add some sparkle. See more of that HERE.
A couple of festive touches in the powder room make it festive in there!
And then to another of my favorite spaces this year… the dining room!
There are a couple big new features in here that really make a great backdrop for the Christmas glow. First is the new wall mural from Wunderwall, in case you’ve missed it. This is called the Castle River landscape and I love it!
And then there is my new chandelier, sponsored by Wayfair, which is a crowing jewel over this table now! I have been sharing this on Instagram in stories but I’m linking it HERE for you to be able to shop it for yourselves! I’m so happy it worked out for us to use this in this space!
I’m using my same blue and white checked napkins I used for Easter and I love them! You can find those linked HERE. And the matching table runner is HERE!
And that’s our home, all ready for a season of celebrating and hopefully intentionally focusing on the Christ who is the meaning of our Christmas. It has always been my prayer that you see HIM here in our less-than-perfect lives and in our house that gets the chance to be pictured as more perfect than it is sometimes (or most times) as well. May you experience Him like never before this Christmas season.
I would love to have you following me on Instagram if you don’t already, as I’ll be sharing more tours and how-to’s and celebrating life all year long!

I first want to say that I enjoy this every. single. year. I can’t even choose my favorite part of this year’s, but the most special has to be the 2 new stockings hung for the babies. Your hot cocoa bar is lit. You make the home a beautiful, cozy Christmas wonderland for many souls to enjoy life inside. May you receive blessing upon blessing in return for years to come for the investment you make and sharing your creative talents with your family, friends and followers.

Your home is just so beautiful. I love Christmas too! I have some amazing decorations that I have been collecting since I was young. I just wanted to let you know that some of your photos did not post. I can’t wait to see what you do for next Christmas.
