Bathroom Progress at the Dogwood Cottage!
Does anyone remember way back when when we first began this reno and we decided the one hall bath should be transformed into two?? So hard to even believe what this one bath used to look like….
And now that tile and vanities and the other finishing touches are going in, our visions are becoming a reality and we are loving it! This past weekend, Abby and I painted a feature arch in the hall bath to add a little pop of color, and we love how it turned out! This pop of yellow is Benjamin Moore Yellowstone and it was just the modern gold we were looking for.
The guys also moved the vanity in here and we hung the mirror so it truly is beginning to take shape!
Light fixtures and plumbing are next so that’s very exciting!

And in other news, the master bath has seen a lot of progress this week as well. We finally got the vanity set in there and it’s beautiful!
I absolutely love the quartz top. Plus, it has just hint of gold veining which is going to tie in beautifully with the gold mirrors!
And another huge change is that the master shower is finally tiled! It’s just waiting to be grouted and then we can add the fixtures and shower door!
I love the vertical stack Abby chose as well as the penny tile shelf insert!

Our checklist is definitely starting to get checked off, even though we still have a few things to go. Do you have a favorite part so far??

What are the dimensions of that open area to the left of the shower? How many shelves will be placed? I’ve been eying a similar creation in my master bath and think we could hire out in making this happen as this is not a job for hubby. =) And yes, everything is truly coming along beautifully!!
