New Fall Chalkboard Art Free Printable
I’m in that awkward phase where half of the house says it’s still summer and the other half declares it’s fall, and I’m just trying to get the transition going in between my regularly scheduled activities! I’ve got pumpkins mixed in with my tropical prints and a few other crazy combos, but I did get some progress done on the porch with some new chalk art so that means a new printable for those of you who are interested!

Do you plan your chalk board design out on a sketch pad first or do you just write the word Fall and get inspired after that?

Most of the time, I just have the idea in my head & try to get it on the board! This time I did start with the FALL & went from there!

I agree, you are very talented! I’m curious about the chalkboards though. Do you make them yourself with chalkboard paint? And what sort of chalk do you write with to get such fine lines?

Most of my boards are ones I have painted with chalkboard spray paint. This one is one of them. I only use regular old basic chalk as well as colored chalk. I get the fine lines by sharpening it with a pencil sharpener or using the edge! I recommend this book if you are interested in chalk lettering! … https://www.amazon.com/Complete-Book-Chalk-Lettering-Develop/dp/0761186115/ref=sm_n_ma_dka_US_pr_ran_0_0_nodl?adId=0761186115&creativeASIN=0761186115&linkId=a4ad733b835d16d7f4a040d2e9c13814&tag=lesthaperlifo-20&linkCode=w43&ref-refURL=https%3A%2F%2Flessthanperfectlifeofbliss.com%2F2017%2F04%2Fwhat-good-shall-i-do-free-chalkboard-printable.html&slotNum=0&imprToken=kNikiRRFAX.j5nQKnMGVCQ&adType=smart&adMode=manual&adFormat=grid&impressionTimestamp=1536749060466

As a graphic designer I am good at lettering with a pen or pencil. Does someone make a line of chalk pens or markers that will erase well?

I really don’t know! I rarely use the pens & markers. I almost always work with basic chalk!
