The Chapel on the Hill: an English Vacation Dream Home

If you’re thinking of taking a vacation to the English countryside, I beg of you to please stay in this amazing chapel home.  I recently came across this property here when I was browsing Airbnb and I was completely speechless.  I am so in love with it and the tastefully way it has been designed, I had to share it because some one needs to stay here!!

This is the Chapel on the Hill and it’s located in Forest-in-Teesdale in the United Kingdom, with which I am not familiar at all, but if I had a reason to visit there, I would definitely be staying in this house!  I can’t help but be broken-hearted to think of a chapel no longer being used as a church, but I’m hoping that the congregation only grew to be too large to fit in in anymore.  And if it was abandoned and left to deteriorate, it would be better as a home!

Truthfully, this house had me at the exterior with the gorgeous pasture background, but if that hadn’t been enough, the kitchen would have clenched the deal…

And with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, it can sleep 7 very comfortably!

I don’t know the story behind the property except that it used to be a Methodist chapel, but I’d love to know more!
