Easy DIY Spring Pillows: Two Ways!
Today, the subject is pillows, because what better way is there to change up a room for spring? I talked a little about this on our local tv morning show earlier this week (you can see the clip here),where I did a spring version of a placemat pillow! Click here for the quick how-to.
I found this pair of placemats at Target recently, and they’re a great fit for the dining room at the moment…
I found my tablecloth at Marshall’s, but they are available on Amazon as well! Here is a set of napkins that would work as well!
I’ve got a super-easy method for sewing a quick zippered pillow cover, which I posted here. Even if you’re not an avid seamstress, you can do this! I used a couple of older pillow covers as my pattern, and had both pillows done in under 30 minutes!
Then, I pulled a few more pillows from my stash and put together a spring mix for the sofa!
So I guess we’re going with pink!
With the pillows, some flowers, and some greenery from the yard, it’s a mini-makeover for spring!

How pretty. I'm nervous working with zippers (limited sewing skills), but you've inspired me! Can I ask about the paint colour in your living room? It is exactly the right creamy yellow I've been searching for! Thank you.
