White Chocolate Raspberry Snowflake Cake (An Easy Christmas Dessert!)
In these last few days before Christmas, I hope you find yourself with plenty of time for the fun stuff: baking, eating, and just being with your favorite people!
And if you’re looking for an easy dessert recipe that still has plenty of the festive factor, try this simple snowflake cake!
Start by making up some snowflakes with some white chocolate that’s been melted until smooth.
Pour it into a plastic storage bag, then snip off a small corner and pipe out a few snowflakes onto a wax paper-lined baking sheet.
Sprinkle on a little sanding sugar for some extra sparkle, then place the baking sheet in the fridge until they harden.
Meanwhile, bake a basic white cake in 2 round layers and let them cool.
Frost the first layer with one can of whipped white frosting…
Next, spread a thin layer of your favorite raspberry preserves…
Top it with the next layer, then frost the top layer with the second can of frosting.
Add the snowflakes, and then serve it up to your guests! If you are not serving right away, you may want to place it in the fridge to keep the frosting firm.
You’ll be amazed at how easy this is. And the good news is that it tastes as good as it looks!
Merry Christmas, friends! Enjoy every little bit of the season!
