Brown Paper Packages Tied Up With String. (Inexpensive Gift Wrap Ideas!)
Brown paper packages really are irresistible, especially at Christmastime. And if they’re one if your favorite things, you might like these couple of twists on the originals.
Get this snow-covered version by simply smearing a little glue over the top of your plain kraft paper package, sprinkling on some faux snow and letting it dry.
A mini Christmas tree or other ornament glued to a clothespin and clipped on the top completes the look. Group a few packages together for a great centerpiece for your table as well!
And for a custom gift bag, start with a plain brown bag and a couple of white paper doilies.
Cut one of the doilies to fit the bottom of the bag and stick it on with a glue stick.
Fold the other one over the top, glue it in place, and punch a couple of holes in the folded top.
Add a ribbon and maybe even a sprig of fresh greenery, and it’s done!
Who says great wrapping jobs have to cost a lot? Each of these ideas just cost a few pennies, which means saving money. And that’sdefinitely one of my favorite things!

Darling – I always look forward to seeing your easy-for-anybody ideas! I love and every year use, the brown packaging paper to wrap…but something fun about the D.R. is that they still very gorgeously gift wrap for free – everywhere! So what's left for me to do is always minimal! By the way….last night I bought myself some mistletoe stuff…I've got a little 'copycat' spirit goin' on over that darling idea!
