Black Bathrooms
Over the past 5 years, I’ve shared literally hundreds of pics of my current house with you all, but, sadly, I’ve shared almost none of my previous house. That’s because I lived there before I was a home blogger, so therefore, I was more like a normal person instead of the kind of person who takes hundreds of pictures of her house!
I do wish I had more pics of my old house, though. And I’ve been feeling especially nostalgic about our little black powder room we used to have. That was the time we broke all the “rules” of not painting a small space a dark color and decided to do a white wainscot on the bottom half of our tiny bathroom, and paint the top half black, all the way around. Then, we put in a black and white checked tile floor to finish it off.
And because I must be subconsciously missing that little powder room, I’ve found myself pinning a lot of black bathrooms to my Bathrooms board lately. These first two pics remind me a little of my own…

Love the black bathrooms, they look stunning. Yes, I would, after all I painted my kitchen dark chocolate.

I just painted my powder bathroom a dark grey (but it looks black) and white stripes. I love it, these black bathrooms look fabulous!
