A Surprise Drop-In Visit on One of My Favorite Bloggers
Remember the good ol’ days when friends could just pop in on each other, unannounced? Yeah, that was before my time, too. These days, we cringe at the thought of someone surprising us on our doorstep, but that’s a post for another day.
Today, I am popping in for a surprise visit on a friend of mine, and I’m bringing all of you with me. But, don’t worry, it’s going to be totally painless, even if the hostess is still in her pj’s with her hair in curlers.
This girl has great decorating sense and a beautiful home to show for it. Maybe you’ve visited her before and maybe you’re already a fan, but if not, I want to introduce you to Jennifer at Dimples and Tangles.
I snuck overandsnagged a few of her pics just to show you a little sample of what she’s up to over there.
She uses a lot of black and white, which means I automatically love her.
Do those curtains look familiar? Yep, I’ve got them in my library (except mine are blue and hers are black)…
She’s got eye candy in every room…
And string lights on her patio. (You know how I feel about those.)
PLUS, she has a chalkboard wall in her kitchen, which I’m totally envious of.
I first “met” Jennifer when she did a makeover of her daughter’s bedroom and made some curtains that were inspired by Lola’s. Click here to see this cute room.
It’s almost funny how similar our tastes are. We even made over the same accordion table we both found on clearance at Target last summer. Remember my version? Well, here’s Jennifer’s… I love it!
It’s funny how friends can be made from across thecountry without ever having seen each other face to face. That’s one of thebeauties of blogging.

I've loved Jennifer's blog since I found it a long time ago. Love her use of black & white and all the color. She is extremely creative!
