Our Jolly Christmas Kitchen {and Free Chalkboard Printable!}
It’s never officially Christmas season at our house until the the new chalkboard art is up in the kitchen. And since that’s done, let the yuletide fun begin.
“Jolly” is the key word here, with a glitter dot garland made with gold glitter paper I punched out, strung on a line with some red striped stars. And then, for a little moresparkle,I hung a few more dots with fishing line up over the top of the chalkboard.
A jar of gingerbread and awreath with mistletoe behind the range willdefinitely contribute to the jolly as well.{Chevron urn from Target, gold tray from Ross, and the striped pitcher from here.}
Nothing toocomplicated here.
And as you rush from one holiday event to the other, frantically searching for those perfect gifts and baking those yummy treats, don’t forget to take a deep breath now and then, remember Christ is what it’s all about, and decide to be jolly.
And if you want a little reminder, download this free printable of my jolly chalk art here and put it in your favorite 8×10 frame for the season. Want it on canvas? Click over to my shop for sizes and prices.
More Christmas everything coming up!

I just love your kitchen mantel! So much so that my husband and I recently added a smaller mantel to our kitchen after removing the microwave. I found your blog via Pinterest and I enjoy seeing how you decorate it with the seasons. Thanks for the inspiration! I am now following along.

It's beautiful and very Christmasie, but I must ask…how do you cook without splattering all the pretty things at the back of your stove??

Ha! Well, I'm kind-of an OCD cook, so I cook with a lot of lids, but if that occasional splatter gets out, I just clean it up ASAP đŸ™‚
