Our Grand Adventure at the Grand Bohemian in Asheville, NC
Our outdoor adventure at Biltmore last week definitely brought out the seldom-seen side of me that could possibly be considered the rugged type. But my design-obsessing, luxury-hotel-loving, detail-oriented self quickly reappeared as soon as we checked into the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Asheville.
Its perfectly charming Tudor style architecture fits right into the fairy tale feeling of Biltmore. And since it’s located right across the street from Biltmore’s entrance, it’s the perfect place to stay when you visit.
The inside décor is like French Country-meets-posh mountain lodge. And between the rich wood finishes, the unique furniture, and the gorgeous artwork, there’s eye candy galore.
And our room was fabulous. They had me at the tufted velvet headboard and wood grain tile floors. But then again, I loved it all.
And breakfast in the hotel’s restaurant, the Red Stag Grill, was the perfect ending to our stay. (Love those red twig chandeliers.)
It is pricey, but definitely cheaper on weeknights, so keep that in mind. And do your research on the discount sites to see if there’s availability there, too.
If you’re going to Asheville for a special occasion, I highly recommend The Grand Bohemian. Click here to visit their site and see more pics.
Have any of you been here before? What are your favorite places to stay in Asheville?
