Our Family Trip to Italy Itinerary: Tuscany (Where to Stay)
Every time someone asks, it’s so hard to answer what part of this trip was our favorite. Each of us can think of so many things we love about each stop. Here are the stops we’ve shared so far in case you’ve missed them…
Next on our trip was another of our favorites, and we spent 4 nights here, exploring Tuscany and relaxing amidst some of the most amazing views we’ve ever seen. We have so many things we loved about this stay that I decided to give it its own post and save the sites and activities in Tuscany for the next post!
The images of Tuscany I had in my mind before visiting were those from movies or Instagram…so dreamy and picturesque. And when we drove onto this property on the evening we arrived, it felt like we had driven straight into those scenes. If you are looking for an idyllic stay in Tuscany, we recommend this!
First of all, it is always my preference to have a great spot for morning coffee or outdoor meals, and this definitely had it!
There was plenty of space for the 7 of us with 3 bedrooms, and the layout of the house was cute and unique.
As much as I love to photograph interiors, I could not stop taking pics out the windows from every room! In the distance on the hill, you can see San Gimignano, the closest town to here, which was also our favorite Tuscan town!
I loved the details of the bedrooms, like the ambient lighting and the arched windows that opened up.
And what a dream to wake up to this view each morning!
The kitchen is quaint and adequate, and we had a light breakfast here each morning and made a pasta dinner one night!
And did I mention the views?
We loved the pool as well, which was right in front of our apartment. (There are 3 units in this large house, but we never ran into anyone else)
And there are roses all around the property, just punctuating an already perfect setting.
In the next post, I’ll share what we did around Tuscany while we were staying here, but it is convenient to so many towns. We would definitely recommend it and would stay here again! I’m linking the listing HERE for you to check out if you are planning a trip to Tuscany!
