Family Room Updates
I’ve had the bug since the new year started to get some things switched up around here, especially in the family room! Spending a lot of time in here the past several months has given me plenty of time to brainstorm! Once we made the big decision to paint the walls of the main floor white last year, the whole space has felt even brighter, so I decided to take it even a step further and brighten it up some more!

Right after Christmas, I shared with you all my surprise from my husband– our Samsung Frame TV! It has been a total game changer for this room where I can now have art above my mantel anytime we’re not using the TV! I can use my own paintings or whatever other image I want! Another big change has been a new rug in here to brighten things up on the floor as well. I tried a couple before I found just the right one, but I love this one and I think it’s neutral enough and classic enough that many of you will like it too! It’s soft to walk on, and has enough white to brighten up a room, but enough gray-blue color and natural fibers to keep it from showing the occasional spot! Wow how beautiful everything looks! I especially like the walls in the room, they look so harmonious and gentle) I really like your taste! The furniture is just perfect for the color scheme! such a beautiful white table, I want one for myself) and also very original pillows, especially those in yellow ruffles! So I want to make the same cool atmosphere at home! I need to learn from you good taste in the interior! thanks for such a post, it was interesting to read!

It is all so beautiful. Have I been doing any changes, a little here and there since I moved here a yr ago this month. Trying to make it my own. You see I lost my mom two years ago. We took a yr to clean things out and go through things, then right before putting it up for sale, I decided to buy my brothers portion in the house and I moved back to my childhood home. I have tried not to make major changes the first yr but its time to work on some of those things now….
