Our Christmas Front Porch
Have any of us ever been more ready for Christmas than we are at this point this year?? I know our family is ready for some holiday cheer and we’re welcoming it with open arms starting with the front porch! I’m thrilled to be a part of the Holiday Homes Tour once again and I hope this is your next stop after visiting Heather at Southern State of Mind!
I had a goal of keeping things simple and fresh this year with lots of green. And as you’ll see when I share more of our inside decor, maybe it’s just the 2020 vibe getting to me, but I am totally feeling a bit asymmetrical in all of my garlands this Christmas! Have you been going there too?
I’m using my same great quality faux cedar wreaths as last year (which you can shop below), but I changed up the color scheme to a bluish green ribbon with a little black and white!
One of my favorite parts is my tile “mat” I put together in literally about 5 minutes! It’s such an easy way to add a little taste of Scandinavian style without making permanent changes to your porch!
I simply measured my space to decide how many tiles could fit, layered a couple strips of rubber shelf matting over the brick, then placed the tiles over the matting! I did a pattern of 3 x 6 8-inch tiles to make a nice layer for my doormat! Shop the supplies for this below!
In our new porch seating area, I just styled up some pillows and trees I’ve used in the past to continue the same simple design.
I’m loving how it looks with my new porch furniture. I love the look of this green on a cool sunny day but I wouldn’t mind seeing some snow out here as well!
I’d love for you to stop back by soon to see my full inside tour! Meanwhile, there is so much inspiration to be seen over at Most Lovely Things! I hope you’ll visit Annie over there and all the homes this week on The Holiday Home Tour hosted by 11 Magnolia Lane and Evolution of Style.

I so agree with you that 2020 has been a bit off and the asymmetrical garland is so perfect. Your wreaths are so pretty too. I adore your sitting area, such a perfect spot to sit and enjoy the world around you.
