My New Crush on an Old Classic
As you may know, I’ve had a huge crush on canvas drop cloths for quite some timenow and can’t seem to get enough of them. But, I’ve recently been reacquainted with an old classic that has my attention as well. This particular fabric coordinates beautifully with my beloved canvas. And it’s none other than ticking stripe.
I’m slightly ga-ga at the moment, and I keep thinking of the many possibilities that could be done with such a versatile and deliciously-romantic classic.
I’ve been working on a project with ticking that I think you’re going to like, but for now, see if these pics don’t inspire a little crush for you, too.
I’m feeling the love. How about you?

I've always loved the navy & white ticking…you've given me something to think about!

I do love ticking, too, Julie. Usually paired up with toile. When I see a picture of that combo together I can spend a lot of time looking at it. I'm looking forward to seeing your project now that you've got us all curious!

Julie, I've always been partial to ticking and well this just reconfirmed it! But pair it with canvas and lavender, well lets just say you have a very happy girl here! It just reminds me of old images of the French countryside and for some reason I can not explain it brings back images of my childhood in Europe (trust me i have no clear images that include these things… its just a feeling it invokes! ha ha!)
I can hardly wait for your reveal! Have fun!

I just found your blog and am in love with your style. How could I not be when every picture you show from P.Barn etc., is something I've stalked for years. So I'm your newest fan!
