Front Porch Refresh
Our front porch was one of the main deciding points when we chose our house plan, but the funniest part about that is that it wasn’t even included in the original plan. (What were they thinking?) But every Southern girl I know wants a front porch, so we made some adjustments and here we are! And this porch has been everything I’ve dreamed of for decorating for the seasons… but truth be told we haven’t really lived out here on it much because it wasn’t a super cozy space. Until now!
Over the weekend, I shared our new furniture on my Instagram stories, and even though I know how talented my husband is at putting furniture together, even I was surprised at how quick it was! I am really thrilled with the style and quality of these new pieces, and they are totally comfy too!
Linking all of the pieces here that are currently available so you can shop them easily. These are affiliate links which help to support this blog…
Loveseat and Coffee Table Set
Rocking Chairs Set
Diamond Tasseled Rug
Faux Rosemary Tree
Gold Lanterns
Seagrass Baskets
One of the most surprising things is that these pieces were not actually from the same place or of the same brand, but they match perfectly! And I love that each of them comes with great neutral cushions that can coordinate with basically any decor style! The love seat comes with both seat and back cushions for even more comfort!
And the small coffee table is just the right size with two surfaces for added design and functionality!
The rocking chairs are also a generous size and curve and the back for just the right support on your back.
I bought this rug last year but it is still looking great after a full year of sun and elements! It’s still available in limited sizes and linked above.
Another of my favorite pieces out here now is my Life Is So Good sign I bought from one of my local favorites, Fig & Company.
I needed a little extended hanger for it so it would hang in the right place on the stone, so I threaded a few wooded beads onto some string and hung it up!
I also added a mix of faux and real plants out here since fall is on its way and I want to keep everything “alive” as long as I can! Can you tell which ones are which??
The yellow pillow covers are from Hobby Lobby, the black printed ones are some I’ve had for a few years, and the throw is from Homegoods.
Looking forward to getting this space ready for fall soon, but for now, I’m loving it as the perfect place for morning coffee! I hope you live in a climate where you can enjoy outdoor spaces. Our porches have totally helped us survive the past several months. And as we say down South, if sitting out on the front porch counts, then yes, I’m outdoorsy!
