I think the mirror double stacked on each side to really fill the space and no shelf underneath them. The size of just one doesn't compliment the larger mirror. Also oversize candle sconces would look wonderful, maybe with bubble or seeded glass to add to the classic but modern look would look equally great and beautiful lit up for occasions.

I love Robin's idea of sconces or maybe even a larger piece of art. The mirror just seems a little off.

I like vintage art –what about some small ovals mixed with a larger piece?

I think both options are too small to adequately fill the wall space. Do you have a Plan C in mind? I would personally prefer blank walls over walls filled with too-small decor. Maybe wait until you can find the perfect pieces that fit the space?

I'll always choose vintage over mod. Classic and timeless…you can't lose! 🙂

I like both, but my favorite is the vintage art you have in there! Goes better with your gorgeous mirror.

Both pieces are too small for the area and also when scaled with the table. Find larger, matching, vintage art work and that will fill the space perfectly. With the new lights and the large light fixture, adding sconces or candle holders or other lighting features will just be too much. The room needs art.

If it was my space I would probably opt for the art work and more of it on the other side. The mirrors may be to much redundancy with the big mirror in the middle. The buffet looks gorgeous.

Hey Julie! Love your "new" buffet and lamps! Out of the 2 options, I like the mirror the best. BUT, I don't love it with the big mirror in the middle, I think both choices are too small. Have you thought about a grouping of white plates on each side? I'm thinking something in a diamond shape like Kris did, but on smaller scale for each side of your mirror. Just my 2 cents! http://www.drivenbydecor.com/2014/04/simple-natural-easter-table-decorations.html

I too think both options are too small, and the mirrors redundant – although they are great. I like Jennifer's suggestion of grouping white plates – something to add dimension and visual interest without detracting from the clean look of the area.

Hey Julie! I always love what you do, and admire so much your continual creativity! I seem to think the art flows better with the other decor in this space. Even before reading all these other great comments, I was thinking just the same as many of the others – keep the art theme but go bigger! I do LOVE the mod mirror – could that go in another spot in the house?

Of the two options, I'd vote for the vintage art, but I'd love to suggest a third option–photography. When my husband and travel we like to take some of the best photos from the trip–they're usually something architectural–and blow them up and frame them. Either black & white or color; they both work. And they're personal

Love the art, but agree with everyone it's a little small for the space. Maybe just reframing it would do the trick… but needs to be wider. It's gets lost on the wall. Love the mirror over the Buffet! I mean Hit it out of the ballpark LOVE! The other mirror is small, and doesn't really go in this room. It's a great mirror though. Maybe a Botanical Print… or Seasonal print… But most importantly Larger!

I'd actually buy 4 of the clearance mirrors , hang them 2 and 2 as a square and take the other down….the artwork really isn't big enough on either side to make an impact, but 4 of the new one above the buffet would do it.
